Dr. Joanna Luty was born and raised in Poland. She moved to Chicago with her family in 2000 and is a proud co-owner and co-director of Premier Family Vision Care.

Dr. Luty graduated cum laude from Benedictine University in Lisle with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then continued her education and earned Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010.

​

Dr. Luty is an active member of Polish community. She holds membership in the Polish National Alliance and Polish-American Medical Society in Chicago. She enjoys volunteering at various community events, one of which is annual vision screening at polish daycares.

​

Dr. Luty practices comprehensive eye care with a special interest in fitting medically-necessary contact lenses for the treatment of corneal diseases. She is also certified in fitting orthokeratology lenses for preventing myopic/nearsightedness progression in children.

​

Dr. Luty also holds membership in the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association and South Suburban Optometric Society.

Dr. Luty enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
